Abstract

The granitoids of Bagh Paein Area are located 50 kilometers south of Shahin Dej in West Azarbaijan province and in the Sanandaj-Sirjan region, which are granite, granodiorite, tonalite, diorite and aplite. The minerals Of this granitoid mass include quartz, ,alkaline feldspars of orthoclase and microcline, plagioclase of albite and oligoclase, muscovite, biotite, amphibole, pyroxene, tourmaline, zircon, apatite, sphene. The most important textures seen in these rocks are porphyroid,,, perthite, myrmikite,, granophyric and poikilitic textures.
In terms of genetic classification, the granitoids of the region are of type I, which according to the different tectonic environment differentiation diagrams, are placed in the volcanic arc environment (VAG) and have a metaaluminous to peraluminous nature, and in terms of the magmatic series, they are of calc-alkaline type. In the analysis of REE charts, it is seen that LREE is enriched compared to HREE and LILE is enriched compared to HFSE, as well as Ta, Nb and Ti elements are depleted, which indicates the dependence of these rocks on subduction zones.
