معرفی و مطالعه مقدماتی افق‌های پرفسیل (shell beds) نهشته‌های دریایی کرتاسه پسین در بخش غربی مکران (جنوب شرقی کهنوج و کرمان)

چکیده

زون زمین‌شناختی مکران، کمتر از دیگر زون‌های زمین‌شناختی ایران مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته است. هدف از این تحقیق معرفی و مطالعه مقدماتی توالی‌های فسیل‌دار کرتاسه پسین (بخشی از واحد چاه‌میرک)، در جنوب شرقی کهنوج (بخش شمال‌غربی زون زمین‌شناختی مکران)، به منظور جلب توجه زمین‌شناسان به این منطقه است. با توجه به این‌که بیشتر واحدهای سنگی منطقه، کمپلکس‌های (افیولیتی) غیر رسوبی و یا رسوبات قاره‌ای کواترنری هستند، کمترین شواهد فسیلی، برای بررسی و بازسازی محیط‌دیرینه منطقه از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار است. توالی‌های مورد مطالعه به لحاظ سنگ‌شناسی عمدتاً شامل سنگ آهک‌های توفی است که در دوره کاهش ورود مواد آذرآواری به حوضه، نهشته شده است و در بالا و پایین با سنگ‌های ولکانیک ارتباط دارد. واحد مورد مطالعه، دارای گروه‌های فسیلی مختلفی همچون گاستروپودهای فراوان، مرجان، جلبک، دوکفه‌ای‌ها و فرامینیفرها است. سن توالی‌های گاستروپوددار، سنومانین و سن لایه‌های دریایی جوانتر، سنومانین-سانتونین پیشین است. محیط دریایی کم‌عمق شامل محیط‌های لاگونی کم‌عمق (با حضور نرمتنان، خصوصاً گاستروپود فراوان) و محیط‌های اندکی عمیق‌تر حاوی مرجان و جلبک، برای رسوبگذاری این واحدها پیشنهاد می‌گردد. برای بررسی دقیق‌تر گروه‌های فسیلی مطالعات بیشتر ضروری است.
