Abstract

Performing engineering projects in common lands needs forecasting and management of effects in the period of construction and exploitation. The Marl borrow material of Behbahan cement factory is one of the important materials which plays a vital role in cement production. Recently, a local lake has been made due to increasing of the water table in the marl mine. Absolutely, decreasing of water table is necessary for utilization and exploitation of marl .This paper attempts to determine the reasons for water table rise and then tries to present a suitable operation for preventing it.
