Abstract

This study was applied by 26 sediment and 7 soil samples in the Anzali wetland area to evaluation and interpretation of radioactive elements (Ra-226, U-235, Th-232, Cs-137, K-40). Trend recognition, variation and effective factor in creation of anisotropy in the area, according to wetland and geographic situation is considered, also the importance of environmental and strategic conditions of Lagoon has been bases for both touristic and nationally aims. By applying the estimation of gridding, using kriging method to decreases the costs of sampling and analysis. The 238 estimated data obtained from kriging estimation has been studied using fractal geometry to identify several statistical societies and separation anomaly area from background. Variation range of U-235 is from 1.05 Bq/Kg to 13.49 Bq/Kg, after fractal geometry the values higher than 3.8 Bq/Kg are known as anomaly. Application of agricultural fertilizers, an industrial pollutant that carried by rivers into wetland and maybe as a tourist region causes a radioactive anomaly.
